Sponsored>> |

My name is Suneja Khatoon. I am a
nineteen year old resident of Karma village in
Chouparan block of Hazaribagh district and I
come from a very poor family. I dropped out of
school in Class IV because my family couldn't
afford to educate me further. I thought that it
was end of my academic career. But thanks to
NBJK, I have received sponsorship and am now in
class V at Chandrakala Daga High School. |

NBJK has initiated efforts in
sponsoring the education of poor children under
its Bal Shiksha education programme.
The sole objective of the programme
is to provide quality education to needy and
under privileged children. By the end of March
2006 we have been able to sponsor 27 poor
children in Chouparan and Ichak blocks of
Hazaribag district. Poverty forced these
children to drop out of school but now through
the NBJK sponsorship programme these children
have now been successfully re-enrolled in
school. |
