Achievements: After a consistent effort a state cell for enforcing PPNDT Act 1994 has been constituted by the Jharkhand government. Moreover, a circular regarding the formation of district Advisory committee have been issued with reminders for regular meetings.

During the last financial year over 800 doctors from different parts of Jharkhand have been sensitized & capacitated.

Community at large has been made aware of this ill practice and warned of its consequences through the IEC materials, Fairs and Public Gatherings such as Swasthya Mela cum Kanya Bhrun Hatya Niwaran Sammelan, and other sensitizing activities. In a unprecedented effort around 600 people from the community have been trained to sensitize the community and disseminate information among them.
