Due to its efforts in the field of community   development, NBJK in March 2006 received the Sarda Equal Opportunities Award worth Rs. 5 lakhs  in recognition of its performance. NBJK was the fifth recipient of the award which began in 2000 and is given annually to an Indian NGO that has proved it's worth in the development sector.  NBJK has also earned accolades on several fronts:
