NBJK works directly in 29 blocks of 6 districts in Jharkhand and Bihar namely Hazaribag, Ranchi, Koderma and Pakur in Jharkhand and Gaya and Patna in Bihar. We have about 1 lakh beneficiaries. In the urban areas of these districts, we work in 24 wards covering 31 slums and about 35000 households. In the rural areas, we run projects in 1694 villages. In addition, we work in close partnership with a network of over 300 voluntary organizations and  social activists spread throughout the two states and in this way NBJK's reach covers the whole of Jharkhand and Bihar. while it is also working in over 30 districts of Jharkhand & Bihar by networking through , small groups and local voluntary organizations.
